Radio Interview

Radio Interview

Here is the interview with lovely Megan Lee @ this is the cat where we discuss my Yogi Superhero books, especially Yogi Superhero Time to Rest. The soothing, lyrical picture book which helps children to rest and, in many cases, sleep better. Interview starts around 19 minutes 15 sec in.

Feedback from one of the mums about the book is amazing:“My 4year old loved this – it’s been tough getting him off to sleep recently and I was willing to try anything that might help. I read this to him at bedtime he was fast asleep before the end of his 10 breaths. Absolutely magic, and it’s teaching him grounding techniques as well. I can’t praise this book enough!”

Yogi Superhero Review

Yogi Superhero Review

By Aditi Wardhan Singh

Fun illustrations make this book a charm to read. I specially liked how the author has made it appealing to kids with describing each pose and connecting it to how yoga can make us feel. The steps to managing breathing was a great help to us and we found ourselves doing the actions along with the book.”

“When we began reading the first book, my son loved that the superheros element was used in the book. He figures it would be very exciting for kids who love superheroes. It is so important actually to help kids learn about different concepts, but built around the things they love already. It makes imbibing things very easy.

Anna Smithers Interview

Here is my latest interview. Hope you enjoy it.

What motivated you to become an author?

It is a very good question. I really think I did not have a choice. It is something inside of me which is trying to be released. It is like a fire burning inside. The only way to put it out is to write. Very often I feel like those ideas are coming from somewhere else. I wake up during the night, with sentence, or an idea, and I cannot go back to sleep until I write it down. The ideas flapping their wings in my head, trying to be released. So, is it a choice? I just write and I can only hope what I share with the world will help someone.
